BackCountry Jazz believes in the power of music education. We provide high quality music programs for underserved youth that engage the creative spirit, encourage self-expression and stimulate academic performance.
The program is an extension of BCJ's summer music camp. There is great demand from students, teachers, and parents for the students to be able to continue their music education throughout the school year.
The goal of the BCJ Bridgeport program is to provide free music education, scholarships and young people's concerts.
